Who We Are
Rashtriya Dalitha Sena (రాష్ట్రీయ దళిత సేన) is a social movement dedicated to the upliftment, dignity, and empowerment of marginalised and historically oppressed communities. We work towards a society built on equality, justice, and shared opportunity for all, regardless of caste, creed, or background.
Guided by the motto దేశం కోసం, ధర్మం కోసం ("for the nation, for righteousness"), our members work at the grassroots level, organising communities, running awareness programs, and standing with those who need support the most.
What we believe
We believe that the constitutional promise of equality, guaranteed under Articles 14, 15, 17, and 46 of the Constitution of India, is only meaningful when it is felt in everyday life: in access to education, healthcare, employment, and public spaces without fear of discrimination. Caste based injustice and social exclusion are not abstract legal questions for us, they are lived realities we work to change one family and one village at a time.
How we work
Our approach is grassroots first. Volunteers and members work directly within communities to help families access reservation benefits and welfare schemes, prevent child marriage, keep children in school instead of labour, organise health camps, support victims of caste based discrimination in seeking legal recourse, and run awareness programs on de-addiction and scientific thinking. Who we work with
We work alongside local community leaders, volunteers, and, where relevant, government departments and welfare schemes, rather than in isolation. This lets us connect families to entitlements and services that already exist on paper but are often difficult to access in practice, while also building long term, trust based relationships within the communities we serve.
