Donation and Refund Policy

This Donation and Refund Policy explains how Rashtriya Dalitha Sena ("we", "us", "our") accepts donations through the website hamarards.org and how requests for correction or refund are handled. Please read this policy before making a donation.

1. Nature of Donations

Donations made through this Website are voluntary contributions in support of the Organisation's social work, as described on our Objectives page. Donations are not payment for any goods or services, and do not entitle the donor to any product, membership benefit, or return.

2. Payment Processing

Where online donations are enabled, payments are processed securely through a third-party payment gateway (such as Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details on our own servers; these are handled directly by the payment gateway under its own security standards.

3. Refunds for Failed or Duplicate Transactions

• If an amount is debited from your account but the donation is not confirmed on our end due to a technical or gateway error, please contact us with your transaction reference. We will verify the transaction with the payment gateway and process a refund to the original payment method if the donation was not received.
• If you are charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded upon verification.

4. Refund Requests for Genuine Donations

As donations are voluntary contributions rather than purchases, amounts donated correctly and intentionally are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe a donation was made in error (for example, an incorrect amount entered by mistake), please contact us within 7 days of the transaction and we will review the request in good faith.

5. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of donation. Refunds are initiated within 5 to 7 business days of approval and typically reflect in your account within a further 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Receipts

Where applicable and where sufficient donor details are provided, an acknowledgement of the donation will be sent to the email address supplied at the time of donation.
